The August 5, 2025 profile covers Soula's 2022 launch, its multi-agent AI design and backing from Berkeley SkyDeck, Mountfund and RIF.

On August 5, 2025, Souzana Psara of Cyprus Mail published a profile of Soula and its founder and CEO, Natallia Miranchuk. Cyprus Mail describes Soula as an AI-powered mental health assistant for women.

How Soula Started

Natallia Miranchuk went through infertility, postpartum depression, and single working motherhood, and she turned that experience into Soula, Cyprus Mail reports. She has over 19 years of experience in women's health. She began in newborn care and launched educational and wellbeing initiatives that have impacted more than 300,000 women worldwide.

The idea came on long nights as a new single mother, when she scrolled her phone at 2am and looked for the kind of support she had been trained to give others. Cyprus Mail quotes her thought:

“If this is hard for me,” she thought, “what about the women who don’t have any of this?”

Soula launched in 2022. Natallia explained the name:

“It was warmth, care, presence.”

From Pregnancy to Wider Wellbeing

The app began with pregnancy. Cyprus Mail says it now supports women who are trying to conceive, pregnant or postpartum, and covers career challenges, relationship issues and sexual wellbeing.

“Yes, we started with pregnancy, but we’re growing far beyond that. Now we support the full spectrum of mental well-being: from TTC (trying to conceive), pregnancy, postpartum, to career challenges, relationship issues, sexual wellbeing and much more.”

Natallia said Soula is free to download and follows a freemium model. Subscribers get deeper content and daily programmes that adapt to each woman's emotional check-ins.

AI Agents and the NeuroBalance Wheel

According to Cyprus Mail, Soula uses a multi-agent architecture. Specialised AI agents respond to different needs, such as pregnancy, postpartum, burnout or relationship challenges. Mental health professionals, doulas and certified coaches curate the conversations, she said.

The NeuroBalance Wheel was developed with the Neurointegration Institute, the article says. In quick daily check-ins, women rate their emotional state as agitated, flat or integrated. The app then suggests practices to guide them back to a calmer, more energised state. Natallia said:

“It’s about daily alignment.”

Emotional Safety

Cyprus Mail writes that Soula does not step into clinical diagnosis or treatment. A red-flag system detects signs of serious distress and suggests reaching out to a licensed therapist or specialist. Natallia added:

“We offer reflections, not prescriptions, always with care,”

Backers and Partners

Cyprus Mail reports that since launching in 2022, Soula has drawn investment from supermodel Natalia Vodianova and a partnership with Google. Berkeley SkyDeck, London-based VC Mountfund and Cyprus' Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) also back the company.

Natallia named two programmes that helped shape the company:

“ReflectX gave me the space to talk about Soula in Cyprus, and SkyDeck stretched our vision, helping us dream bigger.”

Advice for Women Who Feel Overwhelmed

Asked what she would tell women who feel overwhelmed, Natallia gave three messages: you are not alone, don't overlook rest, and Soula is always there.

“She’s a voice, a hand, a warmth you can lean on.”
