The interview reports €1M raised from angel investors and a team of 10 after one and a half years.

On May 7, 2024, StartUpHub, the startup site of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), published an English-language interview with Natallia Miranchuk. It describes Soula as a virtual assistant for maternity and lists TheRecursive as its source.

Miranchuk Started as a Maternity Photographer's Assistant and Doula

StartUpHub says Natallia has been around expectant and new mothers for more than 17 years through projects for female wellbeing. She began as an assistant for a maternity photographer and worked as a doula for the families. She later worked on social projects with the United Nations Population Fund and the World Health Organization. She told the interviewer:

“I held 3,500 babies in my hands.”

She Built Soula to Answer New Mothers' Questions Around the Clock

According to the article, Natallia saw the limits of traditional support for new mothers and wanted a solution that offers guidance around the clock. She gave her reasoning:

“We saw that for new moms, it’s not enough to have their OB or doula. They need someone to answer their questions constantly.”

She then put together a team to build a solution that gives mothers information and psychological support through maternity, the interview says.

Soula Won Awards and Raised €1M in One and a Half Years

StartUpHub reports that in one and a half years, Natallia and her team of 10 won many awards, including the Reflect X competition in Cyprus. The article adds that they raised €1M from angel investors.
